Making space for nature within the farm landscape, how agriculture can play its role in improving species abundance and enhancing existing habitats while still producing healthy nutritious food for an ever growing population.

Biography

Jake has 30 years experience in land management on private landed estates and is currently Director, Holkham National Nature Reserve & General Manager, Conservation Holkham Estate.

Holkham Estate covers 25,000 acres and is one of a handful of private landowners with approved body status to manage a National Nature Reserve (NNR). Holkham NNR covers 9,600 acres of which Holkham owns 4,200 acres and the remainder is owned by the Crown Estate and currently managed by Natural England.
